DILLY-LICIOUS ASPARAGUS HAM & CHEESE PUFF PASTRY BUNDLES

Ingredients

1 bunch asparagus, ends trimmed
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
3 Tbsp. Dilly-Licious Dill Pickle Mustard
125 g (4-5 oz.) prosciutto or ham
170 g (6 oz.) smoked Gouda or old cheddar cheese, shredded
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
White and black sesame seeds(optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, toss together the asparagus, olive oil, salt and pepper. Unroll the pastry sheets out on a lightly floured surface and cut each sheet into 4 squares. Spread 1-2 teaspoons of Dilly-Licious Dill Pickle Mustard over the middle of each pastry square. Layer 1-2 pieces of ham over the mustard, then place 3-4 spears of asparagus over the ham. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the asparagus. Take 2 corners of the pastry and overlap them on top of the asparagus and cheese to enclose. Transfer to baking sheet. Repeat with remaining squares. Brush each pastry bundle with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if so desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot out the oven with extra Dilly-Licious Dill Pickle Mustard.
