SLOW COOKED PULLED PORK

Ingredients

5 lbs. (2.27 kg) boneless pork loin or butt shoulder
4 Tbsp. Smoky-Sweet Barbeque Rub & Seasoning (Retired)
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup water
1 3/4 cups chicken broth
Sandwich rolls

Instructions

Mix together Smoky-Sweet Barbeque Rub & Seasoning (Retired) and brown sugar. Cut pork in half and thoroughly rub with seasoning mixture. Place in slow cooker along with onion, water and chicken broth. Cook on low for 7- 8 hours or until pork is tender when pierced with a fork. Remove meat from slow cooker, discard excess fat, and shred. Return to the slow cooker to keep warm. Serve on sandwich buns with your favourite Sunset Gourmet sauce.
