BACON MAC & CHEESE

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter
3 Tbsp. flour
2 cups milk or cream
1 packet Smokehouse Bacon and Cheddar Dip & Cheeseball Mix (Retired)
3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated and divided
4-5 cups macaroni
4-6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

Melt butter in a large skillet, then stir in flour to make a rue. Whisk in milk or cream (whichever you prefer, I used cream) and the Smokehouse Bacon and Cheddar Dip & Cheeseball Mix (Retired). Cook on medium heat and stir until it begins to thicken, then stir in 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese.
Cook 4-5 cups macaroni until al dente; drain and stir into sauce. Pour into 9" x 13" pan and top with crumbled bacon and remaining cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
