BUTTER CHICKEN POUTINE

Ingredients

½ cup butter
1 white onion, chopped
1 packet Butter Chicken Spice Blend
1 ½ cups cream
1 can (398 mL) tomato sauce
1 cup cheese curds
1 chicken breast, cooked and cubed
1 green onion, sliced (garnish)
4 cups French fries

Instructions

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a saucepan over medium heat; add onion
and cook until caramelized. Add remaining butter, stir until melted. Stir in
Butter Chicken Spice Blend, then add cream and tomato sauce. Bring
to a simmer, cover, reduce heat and continue to simmer for 30 minutes.
While sauce is simmering, bake or fry the French fries.
To serve: divide the fries into 4 servings. Add some of the cheese curds and
the chicken on top of each serving of fries, then the top with Butter Chicken
sauce and garnish with green onion.
