BACON WRAPPED DATES

Ingredients

25-30 pitted dates
70-80 roasted & salted almonds
15 pieces bacon, cut in half
1/3 cup Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce
Toothpicks

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F. Stuff each date with 1 or 2 almonds, then wrap with half a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place a rack on a foil lined baking sheet and place dates on rack. Bake for 10 minutes, brush with sauce and continue baking for 10-15 minutes. You can bake in advance and reheat.
