Ingredients
4 salmon fillets, about 170-225 g each, 1 1/4-2" thick
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Salt
2 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Pepper
Instructions
Preheat grill to 450°F. Pat fillets with paper towel to remove moisture. Brush fillets with oil, on both sides, then season with salt and Sunset Seasoned Pepper. Place fillets directly on the grill, close lid and cook for 6 minutes, then flip and grill an additional two minutes. Serve with assorted steamed vegetables.
FOODIE TIP: Properly preparing the grill by cleaning and oiling the grill grate reduces the chances the fish will stick to the grill grate.Drying and lightly oiling the fish also helps ensure it doesn’t stick.Using thick centre-cut salmon steaks makes it easy to properly sear the outside and get the perfect internal doneness without overcooking
